To encourage our youth to attend and excel at school, The Aleut Foundation conducts $100 cash prize drawings for students who maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above and for students with outstanding attendance. (Outstanding attendance is defined as present 90% of the school year.) Only TAC shareholders and confirmed descendants enrolled in grades 7-12 are eligible to participate.

Drawings are conducted for each category twice a year following the end of the winter and spring semesters. Three winners are randomly selected to receive $100 cash cards for each category, including one youth each who resides in the Aleut Region, in Alaska outside of the Aleut Region, and one who resides outside of Alaska. Youth may not win more than one award per semester.

Deadlines for each term are as follows:

Winter (Date to be announced for February)
Spring (Date to be announced for July)

To enter, eligible youth must submit a copy of the report card for the immediately preceding semester to The Aleut Foundation by the posted deadline. The report card must clearly show the following:

 Student’s name
 Time period being reported on
 Student’s grades
 Student’s attendance record
Name and contact information of the student’s school

TAF will attempt to contact the winner using the contact information on file. If the winner cannot be contacted within ten days, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected in accordance with contest rules.
